Spend a lovely day out at the Barcelona Zoo, the historical zoo for entertainment and preserving zoological heritage for 100 years with over 4000 animals, beautiful birds and 1500 trees of an incredibly diverse species from all over the world.
Once you enter the zoo, you will be handed the zoo map, so you can discover the whole place at your leisure, moving from one zone to another.
From the giant Komodo Dragon in the Land of Dragons, giant snakes and crocodiles in the Terrarium, to the beautiful agile birds in the Aviarium, there is a lot of fun and joy to experience among these interesting fauna.
See the dwarf crocodile of just 1.5 meters long at the Terrarium, the home to a wide range of reptiles and amphibians. You can also admire the charming spotted deer at the Land of Dragons.
Barcelona Zoo boasts a number of animals that have long touched visitor's hearts over the years including the world-famed Snowflake, the cuddling white gorilla that lived in the zoo for 37 years before it passed away.
Play and interact with your favorite animals at the Farm zone where a number of farm animals, horses, rabbits and even hamsters are there to provide a hands-on experience especially for children to discover and investigate the wildlife.
Stop by any of the restaurants and cafés for refreshments during your day.
